Successful 2018 GeoConvention
There were 277 oral presentations and 109 posters presented at GeoConvention in 2018.
A total of 3110 geoscientists attended the convention (224 booth staff, 1412 delegates and 1474 exhibit visitors). Ninety companies exhibited at the TELUS Centre, a 5% increase over last year, and 55% increase over 2016. Most attendees were representing E&P Companies, followed by Service providers. Most attendees were Geologists, followed by Geophysicists and Engineers. Over 20 countries were represented at the convention.
