CEGA CORE CONFERENCE 2025
We are pleased to participate again at Core Conference in Calgary. The conference is organized by CEGA (Canadian Energy Geoscience Association) at the AER (Alberta Energy Regulator) core facility .
Chinook Consulting will exhibit a core display at the core facility, present a technical talk and sponsor the Core Meltdown.
The talk, prepared by Peter Bauman, nick mason and Sarah Saad is entitled “Mineralogical and Geochemical Analysis of Select Basement Cores of Alberta” and will revolve around basement cores from Eastern Alberta.
The Core meltdown event, sponsored by Chinook Consulting and ROGII Canada, will take place on Friday May 9, following the conclusion of the technical sessions at Core Facility.

- June 2025: Event debrief published: 613 geoscientists registered for the event. The main event had 21 presentations and core displays. Core meltdown was attended by 264 participants, joining the 20 sponsors of the conference.
